But Laura COULD do it. Lesson learned: if you don't TRY, it definitely won't happen.
So the four of us saw Cars 2. Claire made it about an hour and fifteen minutes before her restlessness became too much for the theater. She and I spent the last half hour of the movie at Trader Joe's where she got to push a kid's cart.
Monday, Day 11, was July 4. I made a big lunch of lemony grilled chicken, double mustard potato salad, and corn on the cob. Charlee, Chad, and I ate together at the table while the older girls ran around.
We spent the afternoon in the kiddie pool in the front yard. Our neighbors probably think we're Hoosiers (southern translation = redneck), but we don't care.
We live on the corner of a semi-busy street, and the cars driving by make me feel like I'm part of the community. I wonder what they think when we all lie down on the sidewalk and talk about the color of the sky?
