Belizin' It - Day 5 - Bone Fish, Tacos, and Pickup Trucks

Husband had another good morning of fishing. 3.5 hours of fishing = 3 bone fish. Apparently, bone fishing is pretty tough. Even with the guide's help, presenting the flies to the fish is difficult.

I spent the morning by the pool with my laptop, book, and iPod. Internet access has enabled me to stay connected to a work project (not the most successful vacation from that point of view), but it's been just right for me.

Maria chef'd up another fantastic lunch. Homemade tortillas, carne asada, sauteed shrimp, shrimp ceviche, homemade pico de gallo, and pina coladas, of course. It was my favorite lunch so far.

We went to the 2nd JJW concert last night. On Tuesday, he played solo. Last night, he had a drummer and a bass player. Our seats were better (5 rows from the front), and I thought the music was fantastic. I have 3 new favorite JJW songs: Cowboy Boots and Bathin' Suits, The Cape, and Pickup Truck Song.

I'm so glad you guys had a great time. I called OpaNana quite a few times during the week to check in and it seems like everything went great on their end as well. Was it hard to be away from them all week or no? I'm still a bit worried about our trip.

Can't wait to see more pics.
